Every summer as a child my cousin and I would wander around the backyard in search for these bug skins (I think they are locust???) on the trees and fences. We would collect them in our red wagon and then talk about putting water in the wagon to make them come back alive. Of course we were too scared to try it out. So you can image my excitement when I found these on the trees. I have now got Katelyn excited about going on a bug hunt. We checked out the backyard but only found a few. I guess we will have to try back next week. Kirk was pretty surprised I touched them.
