Beach Bums

Kaleb and Kirk probably had the most fun with the jet skis. Kaleb had been looking at pictures of jet skis on the internet before we even got to Bear Lake and was so excited to actually ride one. Kaleb loved having dad go fast and spin around. Katelyn on the other hand was very nervous and did not want to go, but I convinced her that Mom doesn't go fast.

Katelyn enjoyed playing on the beach and making sand castles. She was very sandy from the days work so Kirk asked her to go rinse off in the water while he took down the canopy and packed up to go home. We were both making trips back and forth to the car when Kirk asked if Katelyn was in the car with me. She wasn't with me or with Kirk so we ran down to the beach. We walked up and down the beach, Kirk waded in the water, and some people even helped us search for her. The last place we had seen her was in the water so I was in tears and couldn't believe this was happening. After about 15 minutes, many prayers on my part, Kirk, and even Katelyn we found here way down the beach. She had rinsed off and come out of the water but couldn't find our canopy so she was wondering down the beach. We were sooooo grateful it had a happy ending, said a prayer, and tried to not think about it again for fear mom would start crying again.
