Today was the first day of school. Katelyn is a 3rd grader and Kaleb is a 1st grader. Wow, where has the time gone. They were both so excited to start school again which helped me not be quite so sad. We took them to school and Carter cried when they left for the playground (he wanted to play too).
We also planted a new tree in our front yard so every year we can watch our children and tree grow.

Awesome idea on the tree. We want to do that too. Hope the kids have a great day.
When I asked Alden last week who his best friend is he thought for a second and said, "Kaleb is still my best friend even though I never see him anymore." Let's get them together!
