Day 6- Wednesday

The kids have been looking forward to visiting Kings for days, to pick out a toy. Well, today was the day. Everyone loves heading for the basement and cruisin' through the aisles to find the perfect toy.

Next we headed for the library and after naps we played at the Garden City Park. At the end of the day all the cousins arrived. Let the party begin!!!

Tuesday- Day 5

Today we enjoyed beautiful Bear Lake in its fullest. We parked in the reeds, worried about getting back out, and had to wade through a lagoon to get to the lake. And of course we finished off the experience by stopping at La Beau's for lunch- YUM!

Day 3

You know you are in Idaho when... your son comes home from church with pea pods in his pocket and informs you that it was the snack in Primary. We also enjoyed church for the first time with 4 children, and got to listen to Kirk's dad teach Sunday School.

Bear Lake Vacation- Day 1

My friend Lisa has inspired me to do a better job with my blog. She started a 365 days a year book and takes a picture everyday so she can remember the simple little things in life. I have a hard time remembering what happened a week ago, let alone a whole year so I thought it was a good idea to start recording the simple pleasures of being a stay at home mom with 4 little people. So brace yourself, you are about ready to take a sneak peak into the Rasmussen family.
FRIDAYA whole year has passed and it is time for our annual Bear Lake vacation... YEAH!!! It is one of our favorite places to go as a family and we have so many great memories with Grandma & Grandpa Rasmussen.

Our trip started on Friday morning at 6:30. We had breakfast at a park in Flagstaff, lunch at the Glen Canyon Dam, and dinner at McDonalds in Beaver where we stayed for the night. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pool and hot tub, and Mom even got a little exercise on the bike after the kids were in bed.

Teeny Weeny Bikini

My neighbor and lactation consultant told me that swimming is good exercise for a baby and makes them very sleepy, so we thought we would try it out. Plus we had to see Emma model that cute swimsuit.
