Bear Lake Vacation- Day 1
My friend Lisa has inspired me to do a better job with my blog. She started a 365 days a year book and takes a picture everyday so she can remember the simple little things in life. I have a hard time remembering what happened a week ago, let alone a whole year so I thought it was a good idea to start recording the simple pleasures of being a stay at home mom with 4 little people. So brace yourself, you are about ready to take a sneak peak into the Rasmussen family.
FRIDAY
A whole year has passed and it is time for our annual Bear Lake vacation... YEAH!!! It is one of our favorite places to go as a family and we have so many great memories with Grandma & Grandpa Rasmussen.
Our trip started on Friday morning at 6:30. We had breakfast at a park in Flagstaff, lunch at the Glen Canyon Dam, and dinner at McDonalds in Beaver where we stayed for the night. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pool and hot tub, and Mom even got a little exercise on the bike after the kids were in bed.

Emma's blessing day
We decided to top Father's Day by blessing Emma today. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful weekend. My sister and bro-in-law were in town and we wanted them to be apart of it as well. Emma was perfect, she slept through the whole thing like a good little babe!
I made this dress in my children's sewing class at Ricks College (11years ago). It was such a relief, during this insanely crazy time, to pull it out of the closet and have everything done. All I needed to do was add a few accessories. Whew! Thank you sis-in-law for the beautiful blanket, and Marci for the bracelet.
Happy Father's Day
